Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga says he is yet to decide on whether to attend the summon by the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission EACC as he is yet to receive communication from the Commission.
The EACC announced Tuesday that it had called on the CORD leader to come in and explain what he knows about the ongoing Eurobond saga of which he has insisted there has been misappropriation of funds.
Raila claims that as much as KES 100 billion of the 250 billion has been wasted, an accusation the government refutes.
The EACC has started investigations over the matter and now wants to meet Raila on Thursday to add some insight into the case.
The CORD leader says though that he has yet to receive the letter.
" I am yet to receive the letter talked about by the press and connected to the EACC," he said.
" However, if and when I get it, I will inform Kenyans of my decision. Be it to go or not to and will explain why," he added.
The EACC has already summoned Treasury CS Henry Rotich and other senior officials in the ministry to explain the suggested scandal.
The government insists that there has been no wastage of funds and that there is evidence to show that it has not.
