Nairobi - Ababu Namwamba says that he has no apologies to make to ODM leader Raila Odinga over his departure from the party.
He says that he has raised his concerns to the party for the last four years and that he has finally decided to leave, seeing as there is no change.
" I have left the party. There is no change to things we have been speaking about for a while now, so I see no need to remain where I am not happy," he stated.
He said that he will not attend the ODM disciplinary sessions being held currently.
" I see no need to go. They already know my reasons. We have spoken in private many times, so I see no need for more talk," he added.
Ababu quit ODM and is now a part of the Labour Party of Kenya.
He faces a by election if ODM chooses to discipline him for leaving the party but he is not perplexed by the matter.
" I am a two term MP. I am ready to fight on my own. My record speaks for itself," he added.
Ababu was previously also ODM Secretary General.
