Nairobi - Ababu Namwamba the Budalang'i MP and CORD leader Raila Odinga have met in Nairobi to hold talks over issues simmering in ODM.
The two, together with other leaders spoke about the need to ensure that all grievances are dealt with in a proper manner to avoid unnecessary public interference in issues.
"Today's meeting resolved to, among other things, support nominees to the IEBC reforms negotiations team which is to be tabled in both houses of Parliament this week,"ODM said in a statement.
Ababu added that in two weeks time, the party will meet again to deliberate on what is needed to pull the party forward and ensure that there is unity in the lead up to the 2017 elections.
" We will meet again in two weeks. As far as other issues are concerned, there will be a statement on matters when they are deliberated," he added.
Ababu and leaders from the Luhya community have been at loggerheads with the party leadership, saying that they have been sidelined.
Raila, while saying that none of the leaders will leave ODM, pledged to find a solution to the matter and insisted that there will be meetings to ensure that they are solved.
