Nairobi - A newspaper vendor was killed by overspeeding drivers early Sunday in a grisly accident in Nairobi.
The incident took place Sunday morning at the Olenguruone Road roundabout in Nairobi's Lavington/Kileleshwa estate.
The vendor was hit and died on the spot after two overspeeding vehicles collided along the road eventually landing on the vendor who had no time to help himself.
A witness told News24 that the incident was squarely to be blamed on the two drivers.
" They were overspeeding and collided into each other. It was a sorry sight," Hannah Nderi told News24.
Police arrived at the scene and took the body of the man to the Nairobi City Mortuary.
The vehicles were taken to the Kileleshwa Police Station.
