New party will collapse, Jubilee MP tells Uhuru

Nairobi - The new Jubilee Party will collapse unless President Uhuru Kenyatta ensures free and fair nomination, an MP has said.
According to Webuye MP Dan Wanyama, nominations have to be fair come 2017.
If not so, there risks being heavy backlash and a premature end to the party.
" We must ensure free and fair nomination processes for the good of the
party. Otherwise, the risks of failure are high," he told News24.
He says that managing the expectations of the thousands of aspirants will be key to the success of the party.
" We have to be careful to ensure that expectations of the electorate are met to avoid a serious fallout," he added.
Wanyama has joined the Jubilee Party after the New Ford Kenya Party was dissolved in July.
