National Assembly Speaker Muturi bereaved

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has mourned the passing of National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi's sister.
President Kenyatta Tuesday condoled with Muturi's family over the demise of his sister Monica Muthoni Njoka.
In a statement, the President described Ms Njoka as a visionary lady who played an important role in mentoring young people.
" I received the news of the death of Ms Njoka with tremendous shock, sadness and sorrow,” the President said.
The Head of State applauded Njoka’s peace building initiatives which he said contributed significantly to the community she lived in.
He observed that Njoka was a committed Christian who contributed to the construction of many churches in her region.
" As we mourn her passing, let us also be proud of the contribution she made over the years and thank God for the time we shared with her,” the President said.
" We pray to God to give the bereaved family the strength and courage to bear the loss.
