Mutua being used by Jubilee to finish Kalonzo, Senator says

Nairobi - The fallout from the formation of the Maendeleo Chap Chap movement by Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has begun with some strong words from CORD leaders.
Mutua begun the party with a lavish ceremony over the weekend, hitting out at his fellow Wiper Party leaders led by CORD co principal Kalonzo Musyoka and accusing them of letting people of Eastern Province down.
But the move has been met with harsh words by Wiper leaders who have accused Mutua of being a Jubilee mole and using the avenue to cause disharmony among Kambas.
Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior says that Mutua's new movement is doomed to fail.
" The move by Mutua is a desperate one and an attempt at gaining in popularity using divisive tactics," he said in a statement Monday.

" It is a trial by the Jubilee Coalition to divide Kambas, one which will fail miserably," he added.
Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar echoed Kilonzo's feelings.
" The movement is a creation of Jubilee cronies and will not succeed. We will not let it do so," he added.
Mutua insists that the movement is only there to create awareness among Kamba people over their economic plights and bring in ways of improving their lives.
Others though, see it as a political tool to help Mutua gain popularity, something he has refused.
