Muthurukishion 2016 at the Alchemist
29 August 2016, 19:01
Nairobi - Since its launch in 2013, Muthurukishion has been building
up to a point where it could deliver on par with some of the biggest concerts
in the country.
2016 seems to be the year for the group, making the 3rd of
September the most exciting day of that month.
According to the show's
organizers, “Muthurukishion translates to mchanganyiko maalum (in English, a
musical cocktail). It is the experience that comes from fusing sounds, genres,
musicians, percussionists, amateurs and good vibe. The Dance Parade
personalises the party to deliver an unparalleled dance marathon.”
Earlier in the year, they hosted Mufasa the Poet and Swahili
Ally in a unique concert attended by masses. They followed that up with a show
hosting 5 of the hottest upcoming acts in the Kenyan scene.
This time they
bring talent from across the boarders in the form of Dbass Ganun from Tanzania
and Anyango from Japan.
