Musalia agrees to join CORD, Senator reveals

Nairobi - Musalia Mudavadi will join the CORD Coalition ahead of the 2017 elections, a Senator has revealed.
Musalia has been seriously linked with the CORD Coalition in recent times and it seems that the move could be coming to fruition son, to allow them make up a super alliance to take on the Jubilee Party come the 2017 elections.
Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar says that it is the case.
" Musalia will be joining CORD soon. That is a great move for us as we seek to eject the Jubilee government next year," he told News24.
He added that other opposition chiefs such as KANU's Gideon Moi and others were also in the loop for a super alliance.
" Other opposition chiefs are lined up for a grand entry into the coalition to strengthen our quest to take power in 2017,” he added.
CORD is seeking to bolster numbers ahead of what is expected to be a tight battle for the Presidency come the 2017 elections.
