Nairobi - Lawyer and former politician Paul Muite has blasted CORD MPs for disrupting the President's State of the Nation Address.
The MPs did their best to stop the President from making his address in Parliament Thursday after using all manners of mechanisms to disrupt his speech, using whistles and screaming at the top of their voices.
The President waited for a bit and after the MPs were kicked out of the house, he continued with his speech.
Muite was unhappy with the show.
" It's not right for the opposition to block the President from performing
a Constitutional Duty; State of the Nation Address in Parliament," he said.
CORD co principal Kalonzo Musyoka also earlier lambasted the MPs for their actions.
