Nairobi - Amani National Congress ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi will not be joining ODM at any cost, the party's top brass has vehemently insisted.
Mudavadi has on several occasions been linked to the Orange party and the larger CORD coalition in plans generally seen to try unite the Luhya Community together ahead of the 2017 General Elections.
According to ANC leadership though, the chances of Mudavadi joining ODM are zero.
" These stories have got to end. Mudavadi is the ANC party leader and Presidential candidate," he said in a statement Tuesday.
" He is going nowhere and will not be joining ODM at any cost," he added.
On the issue of a coalition or an agreement ahead of the 2017 poll, the ANC insists that it is other parties or coalitions that must seek to join up with the former Deputy Prime Minister.
" Why don;t they join up with ANC? Why is it always the opposite," he posed.
Mudavadi has in the past not ruled out a coalition with CORD in the 2017 elections, even though he has always been on record as stating that he is very keen on running for the presidency come the next polls.
