Nyeri - Nyeri County MP Priscillah Nyokabi believes she will be re-elected in the next election after shaking hands with Pope Francis.
Nyokabi said she was among three other MPs who shook hands with the Pope during a visit to Vatican in Rome.
The parliamentary delegation, which was led by Speaker Justin Muturi, also attended a mass at St. Peters Catholic Church in the Vatican.
“The four of us (MPs) who managed to shake hands with Pope Francis believed in the blessing that was bestowed upon us and look forward to be re-elected!” said Nyokabi.
She however said the MPs were working hard to impress their constituents.
Nyokabi added that Pope’s message on hope, forgiveness and reconciliation was timely and will do Kenya a lot of good. For the latest on national news, politics, sport, entertainment and more follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page!
