Nairobi - Suspended Ugunja MP, Opiyo Wandayi wants Speaker of National Assembly, Justin Muturi committed to civil jail for contempt of court.
The MP says Muturi has denied him access to Parliament even after High Court Judge George Odunga suspended a decision by Muturi that locked him from Parliament over alleged misconduct.

“Muturi's refusal to obey the order undermines the authority of the court, is a recipe for anarchy and goes against the constitutional tenet of the rule of law,” Wandayi said in Nairobi on Thursday.
He has filed an application for leave to institute the contempt proceedings against Muturi, saying he has insisted that he will not obey the court order.
The MP and several others in the opposition blew whistles in Parliament and delayed President Uhuru Kenyatta's State of the Nation address on March 31, 2016.
