“Nakuru has all it takes to become a city. We have the infrastructure in place and are rapidly expanding our economic status and very soon we will be on a par with Mombasa which is Kenya's second largest city,” said Moi.
“Nakuru is strategically positioned and we want to plead with the President to give us a city status before he vacates office in 2022,” he added.
Kenya currently has only three cities namely Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu.
