Nakuru - A member of Parliament has called on the Kalenjin community to fast for three days ahead of Deputy President William Ruto's date with the ICC on April 5.
Kuresoi North MP, Moses Cheboi said that the Kalenjin community should be obligated to fast and pray for the release of their son between April 1 and April 3.
Cheboi said that the prayers from the community will help break the big mountain that is before the DP.
"We know as a community that we are holding our breath and keeping our fingers closed but we should also sacrifice and fast for three days as we pray that God brings back our son home," he said.
"Prayers can do wonders especially when accompanied by a fast and that is what we should do," he added.
