MP released on KES 300K cash bail over forgery

Eldoret - Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has been released on KES 300,000 cash bail over forgery.
Sudi was facing three counts of forging a KCSE and KIM Diploma certificates in order to win nomination for the 2013 general election.
Appearing before court Thursday, he denies the charges and was granted bail.
He is not the first MP to be taken to court for lying to the IEBC.
Kabete MP, has also been in endless legal battles with his rival Governor Kabogo over his Degree certificate.
According to the electoral laws of Kenya, all MPs are required to have at least a Degree certificate from a recognised institution.
