Nairobi - An ODM MP has publicly reconciled with ODM leader Raila Odinga after threatening to leave the party.
Funyula MP Paul Otuoma says that he met Raila on Friday and they agreed that the best move was for him to remain in the orange party.
He said that he had actually no intentions of leaving ODM but that he had a few issues which had since been solved.
" I met Raila on Friday and we spoke and agreed. I am happy to have come to such an amicable solution to problems that were threatening to disturb the peace," he told News24 on phone from Busia.
Otuoma says that he did not join the Third Force movement which was led by Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba since he felt that the new caucus had no vision.
" There was no vision within the movement. It was a matter of a ship without a course.. It cannot work," he added.
Otuoma will now concentrate on defending his seat as Funyula MP and helping Raila win the 2017 Presidential elections.
" Raila deserves to be President and we will make sure that we give all we can to ensure he does," he finished.
