Nairobi - An MP says that he will continue to support the Jubilee Party even if he loses the 2017 election nominations.
According to Dagoretti MP Dennis Waweru, he will remain in Jubilee even if he is not on the winning side, he will support the Party ahead of the 2017 polls.
Waweru faces a hard task in winning nominations to be the next Nairobi Governor and admits that there might be room for loss, even though he is not thinking about it.
" I am a Jubilee Party loyalist. Nothing will make me leave the Party and I will support it to the end of the 2017 nominations and elections," he stated.
Waweru faces the likes of Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko, Water CS Eugene Wamalwa, Mp Johnson Sakaja, former Mp Margaret Wanjiru and others to win the Jubilee ticket to face off with Evans Kidero.
He knows that it will be tough but is confident that the nomination elections will be free and fair.
" The Party has been clear that nominations will be done in order and that there will be no issues. So we trust that the right person will win," he added.
Waweru has been touted as among those that will retreat to the constituency level if he does not win the nomination to face Kidero come the August 2017 polls.
