Nairobi - A Jubilee MP has lost yet another seat after ditching ODM for the ruling coalition.
Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung’aro has been ousted from chairing the Coast Parliamentary Group.
The team is composed of 33 MPs drawn from six counties.
Mung’aro, who last year jumped from the opposition CORD to Jubilee, was replaced by Gunga Mwinga of Kaloleni during the election conducted at the Parliament
He stated that he was happy to have served Coast residents.
" This is a group for the people of the Coast region and I was proud to be involved in my capacity," he stated.
Mung'aro quit CORD for Jubilee last year, saying that he saw no development agenda being touted by the opposition.
In the recent Malindi by elections, he supported and voted for Philip Charo of the Jubilee Coalition.
