Nairobi - An MP has explained why she quit the CORD Coalition for the Jubilee Party.
Kwale Women representative Zainab Chizuga says that after 10 years supporting CORD leader Raila Odinga, it is time for a change.
" It is time for a change. We have been in the opposition for ten years plus and we feel that we need to do different," she spoke of the move.
She says that the Jubilee Party is guaranteed to form the next government and that Coastal people deserve to be in the team.
" The government has shown that it is willing to develop the country despite of who voted for who and that is something we are keen on emulating," she added
Chizuga has quit the opposition together with Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya.
