Nairobi - Kuresoi North member of parliament Moses Cheboi has denied claims that he has ditched his party KANU for jubilee.
Cheboi said that he was elected on a KANU ticket and is still in KANU ,saying that he has no plans of ditching the party.
Speaking Sunday in his constituency,Cheboi said that rumours of him ditching KANU are being propagated by his political opponents who are out to soil his good image.
"Let it be known that I am still in KANU and I have not joined jubilee and if in any case if I were to join any other party I would announce it myself,"said Cheboi.
"Cheboi is still a member of KANU and any rumours from my opponents should be ignored,"he said. The MP insisted that he respects the party that sponsored him to Parliament and still maintains his loyalty to the party.
He however was not clear on whether he is going to defend his seat on a KANU ticket.
