Move to Jubilee or die with Kalonzo MP tells Kamba community

Nairobi - Move to Jubilee or end up in the wilderness with Kalonzo Musyoka, an MP has told the Kamba community.
Yatta MP Francis Mwangangi says that the community has been denied twice in the last two polls to be in the government and that must change.
He called on those supporting Kalonzo to ensure that they are prepared for another 5 year spell in the opposition.
" We MPs are under ‘a lot of pressure’ from the business community, clergy, youth and the community in general to give a clear direction on the community’s stand in the next elections," he told News24.
He said that that stance was to be achieved if only they moved to the Jubilee Party.
Mr Mwangangi said criticisms against some Kamba leaders for joining Jubilee were unfounded because they were simply out to bargain for the community’s development.
" Joining Jubilee is a democratic right. It does not mean that we are supposed to stick to one place . There is room to move where we want and we believe that the right place for the community is Jubilee," he added.
A number of leaders from the region have in recent times jumped ship to the Jubilee Party, saying it is more effective than the CORD Coalition.
