Moses Kuria is the biggest threat to Kikuyu community, youth group says

14 June 2016, 08:05 Jackson Okata

Gatundu - Gatundu south member of Parliament Moses Kuria is the biggest threat to the Kikuyu community, a youth group has said.

The Nakuru Kikuyu youth council warned that Moses Kuria's lethal tongue poses a grave danger to the Kikuyu community than the people he is attacking.

Speaking Monday in Nakuru town, the youths said that Kuria should be tamed.

Led by George Kinyua, the youths said that considering Kikuyus are spread across the country, they will suffer the most in case Kenya goes up in flames.

"We want to tell our people that one Moses Kuria is the biggest threat to the Kikuyu nation and that is the bitter truth. The lethal words he is vomiting can backfire and burn the entire community," said Kinyua.

"In case what he prays for happens, then the people who will suffer most are Kikuyus who are spread across the country," he added.

They also lashed at Bahati MP, Kimani Ngunjiri for threatening to evict members of the Luo community from Nakuru County and called on him to stop fanning hatred among Kikuyus and Luos.

"The likes of Ngunjiri should know that Kikuyus are all over the country and when we start telling other tribes to leave Nakuru, do we think our people will be spared wherever they are?" he posed.

"In fact, if ethnic evictions were to start the people who will suffer most are the Kikuyus and that should ring loud in the heads of hate mongers like Ngunjiri and Kuria," said Kinyua.
