Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto should brace for a serious turf war.
It seems everyone wants a slice of the Rift Valley votes. URP rebel and Bomet Governor Isaac has been trying to drift away South Rift from his grip and now Gideon Moi has powered his salvo.
"I have not spoken yet and when I speak, it will be unstoppable. " Senator Moi.
"Our competitors should know that Kanu has awakened and should brace themselves for a bruising battle during the next general elections."
Moi posted after he felt disrespected by the DP. Moi has been struggling to bring Kanu back to its feet to counter URP influence in the Rift Valley.
Whereas Moi has deep pockets and big name behind, DP Ruto has develop a strong influence and control among Kalenjin votes. Whether Moi will successfully dislodge him still remains the million dollar question.
But as it stands DP should brace for a 'war ' in his own backyard.
