Moi backs Uhuru for 2017 polls

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta is the man for the 2017 elections, Gideon Moi has said.
The KANU boss and Baringo Senator says that the party will back Uhuru come the 2017 General Elections and that the President is the only viable candidate that the party can support.
" I think we have said it before. The party will back the President in the 2017 elections. That is not something that we are changing," he stated.
The KANU boss added that he felt that despite the fact that they will support the President come the polls, he thought KANU had been short-changed by the Jubilee Coalition despite its support in the previous polls.
" The support we gave them was overwhelming yet our people are suffering and languishing in poverty. They made promises they have yet to fulfil all these years and we urge them to move to make the necessary changes," he added.
KANU, he says will not have any deal with the opposition CORD Coalition for the polls.
" That boat has sailed," he continued.
