Miguna: My life is in danger
27 September 2016, 16:15
Nairobi - Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has said that his life is danger after he engaged in social media war with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko Mbuvi.
Miguna accused Sonko of using the police to intimidate him after he referred the Senator as a “drug lord “in his twitter exchanges with the Senator.
"Did the drug lord @MikeSonko send you to issue me with a DEATH THREAT? @KenyaPolice3 @DPPS_KE,"Miguna tweeted to the Kenya Police.
Miguna said that on Saturday, he received two death threats but said that the threats will not intimidate him into silence.
"This is the SECOND DEATH THREAT I have received today. The cowards will not stop us. @KenyaPolice3 @DPPS_KE." , he tweeted. Miguna had earlier on discredited the Senator’s leadership saying that he is not fit to occupy any public office.
"Kenyans must not allow a convicted criminal and drug lord to threaten to turn an environmental gem like Uhuru Park into a parking lot," tweeted Miguna.
Miguna is among the candidates that want to unseat Nairobi governor Evans Kidero in the 2017 general elections.
