Man kills wife for taking ARVS without his notice

Kilifi - Police in Magarini sub-county in Kilifi County have launched a manhunt for a man suspected to have killed his wife for allegedly taking Anti-Retroviral (ARVs) without his permission.
The area OCPD, John Kilokwe said the woman, aged 37 was bartered with a stone by her husband for allegedly taking the ARV drugs without his consent.
The OCPD said the man is believed to have committed the heinous act after discovering that the wife was taking the anti–HIV/Aids medication without his knowledge.
Kilokwe said security personnel are pursuing the suspect, who went into hiding after the attack.
The OCPD said the body of the deceased has been taken to the Malindi Referral Hospital mortuary as police intensify a manhunt for the suspect.
