Mwaniki also denied two other counts of committing indecent act with an animal by performing a sexual act with it and causing bodily harm to the animal.

The court heard that Ms Rachael Wanjiku Mwaniki who is the accused mother’s was preparing breakfast when she sent the accused person to go and release the flock to graze but minutes later she heard unusual bleating.

When she rushed outside to find out what was happening to the sheep, she found her son having sex with one of her sheep and that was when she raised an alarm.

The court further heard that the accused person took to his heels when the complainant raised an alarm and ran into a nearby forest but neighbours and area chief managed to catch up with him and frogged matched him to Retire police post where he was arrested and charges preferred against him.

The case will be heard on June 16, this year and mentioned on May 26.
