Man found with Police pistol stoned to death in Nairobi

Nairobi - A man who was found with a Police pistol in his possession has been stoned to death by members of the public in Nairobi.
The firearm belonging to the Kenya Police Service was recovered on Sunday night after a botched robbery in Kiambiu estate, Buruburu.
County police boss Japheth Koome confirmed that the firearm
belonged to the police but was yet to establish how it was stolen.
firearm is being kept at Shauri Moyo police station from where we have circulated
the details of the firearm to all the police stations and the Central
Firearms Bureau,” he told News24.
The man was part of a three man gang that was aiming to break into a home when an alarm was raised and members of the public attacked the gang.
Two of the three escaped but the final member was not so lucky and died in a hail of stones from irate members of the public.
The body was taken to the Nairobi City mortuary.
