Nakuru - The rising number of male commercial sex workers in Nakuru town is worrying.
According to the community-based organisation, Nakuru united against commercial sex work, male sex workers have taken over night clubs and other joints in the town.
The group chair, Grace Njoki said that the male commercial sex workers target rich and wealthy women who visit bars and other entertainment joints.

Speaking Tuesday morning when she led residents in praying for Nakuru streets, Njoki lamented that the sex workers trade openly along some streets.
"We are used to seeing female sex workers but the trend has changed and male sex workers have invaded the town," she said.
"Most of them are gay or bisexual men who go with both male and female clients," she added, noting that the existence of gay sex workers has increased the prevalence of HIV/AIDs in Nakuru especially among young people and single women.
