Nairobi - Kenya is one of the most unique and diverse
places on earth with more than 40 different ethnic groups living together to
form the nation.
Due to its diversity people from different communities
organize for events celebrating their roots through food, dance and music. Such
events bring people from different places all in an effort to educate and
appreciate the diversity. One such night has grown to become one of the most
attended events in the country.
The Luo Night is set to take place this
Saturday the 9th at the Carnivore restaurant.
The night has come to be associated with
class, style, great food and divine music, making it irresistible, even for
people outside the community.
The artist line up will have Akothee, Igwe Prezda
Bandasson, Lady Maureen, Madanje Perimiter, Dola Kabari and John Junior, with
Dj Joe Mfalme on the decks.
The show will be hosted by 6 different celebrities
including Mzee Jalango Mwenyewe, Eric Omondi, Chipukeezy vinie, Ajo mbuta,
Owago Onyiro Ichieni and Obinna Ike Igwee. Tickets are on sale for 1000ksh
(VIP) and 2000ksh (VVIP) with the show kicking off at noon and running all the
way till dawn.
