Loudmouth women are a total; turn off

25 July 2016, 17:18 Shakila Alivitsa

Nairobi - Before you get angry, I could say the same goes for men to me too.

Have you ever just been sitting at a place, for example the cyber café or the library or just a room and you were enjoying yourself because you liked that false sense of solitude you get in a quiet room. People are there but everyone is just quiet minding their business.

If there is any conversation it is done in hashed tones.

Then all of a sudden, there is a loud screech or a loud guffaw. Then there it is again so now you have stopped doing what you were doing and looking for that person. You want to give them a clear dirty look so that they can shut up.

Has happened to me countless times in a particular cyber I liked to go to and it was always the same woman. It would be quiet then all of a sudden chaos; by her voice. And she does not know how to speak in low tones either!

And if she caught my eyes giving her a bad stare I think she ignored me- I disliked her unexpected visits intensely because they would always be noisy. I imagined living with such a woman every single day of my life.

They are the people you ask for constant space from and they easily get annoyed.

They are the ones you do not want to go to a classy event with- they draw stares and not the nice admirable stares but the disdaining ones. You just like taking them to the stadium at least there they will meet with their cohorts.

They are normally ignorant; you go with them to a restaurant and try coach them in a nice way about the forks and knives; not because you are being impolite but because it is a nice polite dinner with the boss and you could not disinvite your spouse. They support you!

Their answer, ‘People should accept me for who I am. I am not a pretender.’

That is when you understand the importance between staying ignorant and knowledge and where you stand with them on this.

Loud people tend to have bad habits and manners; deny it if you are loud but you know it is true.

They have this brash sense of superiority and you just get tired. Dating them is a job because you are always trying to bend out of sight so that you cannot be seen with them. Or if they are eating you inwardly cringe because they are all over the place and never in a good way.
