Let Ababu and other Western MPs leave ODM in peace, DP Ruto tells Raila

Nairobi - Opposition leaders have been asked to let their disgruntled members leave their parties without pointing fingers at the government.
Making reference to the recent threat by ODM Western MPs to ditch the party, Deputy President William Ruto said it is wrong to link him and Jubilee to the decision made by the lawmakers.
A section of opposition leaders have claimed that Ruto is behind the rebellion of some ODM politicians like the Secretary General Ababu Namwamba and Funyula MP Paul Otuoma.

"Ababu and his colleagues can make their own decisions, unless their party leaders think they have no brains or the are young children. I should not be blamed," he exonerated himself.
The DP made the remarks Saturday during the burial of Mama Saphres Wanyama, the mother of Webuye West MP Dan Wanyama.
On Thursday last week, city lawyer Edwin Sifuna declared himself the ODM Secretary-General, a move which was faulted by the party executive director the next day.
Ababu has been accused among other sins, of failing to show up in the opposition anti-IEBC protests
