Nairobi - Leaving the CORD Coalition was an easy decision, an MP says.
Sirisia MP John Waluke says that the uncertainty and lack of leadership in the opposition coalition made it an easy decision to dump the opposition for the ruling Jubilee Coalition.
" It was easy. There is no direction and leadership in CORD. Moving was an easy step," he told News24.
He said that despite the ridicule within the opposition coalition, he will not hesitate to use the ruling Jubilee Coalition to defend his seat come the 2017 elections if necessary.
He accused CORD leadership of frustrating growth of democracy within the party.
" Kenyans have grown politically and want to see different things taking place. What we are offered by CORD is unnaceptable," he added.
Waluke has been traversing the country together with Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba positioning the famed third force political group ahead of the 2017 elections.
