Leaders want Uhuru to address thorny land issue during his Nakuru visit

Nakuru - Leaders from Nakuru county want president Uhuru Kenyatta to personally address the thorny land issues when he tours the county from tomorrow.
Led by the chairman of Nakuru parliamentary group, Kimani Ngunjiri the leaders say that over ten people have been killed in the past one month over land related disputes in Nakuru county.

They said that the president should personally address the issue because local leaders have failed in providing a solution.
"As a county we are happy the president will be making his maiden visit to Nakuru since being elected and we want him to help us solve the land issue because that is our biggest problem for now,"said Ngunjiri.
"It cannot be that every day we are loosing innocent lives just because of land and we want the president to help us end this,"he added.
President Kenyatta is expected to start a two day working tour of Nakuru county from tomorrow.
