Lame excuses women give to justify unprotected sex
25 January 2016, 16:50
HIV/AIDs is a major global public health issue. According to the latest statistics, over 30 million people across the world have succumbed to HIV/AIDs related illness since 2008.
Despite the shocking and grim statistics, many persons still shun the use of condoms - one of the effective methods of preventing the transmission of the virus and other deadly diseases, not to mention unwanted pregnancies.
We womenfolk are notorious in giving sometimes flimsy excuses to the men we want to jump into the sack with, to make them shun the condom and go ‘ skin –to- skin’ . Below are some of the reasons;
I am allergic to condoms
This is the topmost excuse most ladies give to justify unprotected sex. Don’t fall for this line brother, as there are many condom brands out there! If she is allergic to latex you can go for non-latex brands. A condom made out of lambskin is another alternative.

I am clean
This is yet another popular line that can be thrown your way before coupling and especially at the heat of things. Please don’t fall for it. If someone is clean, she should have no qualms having qualified medic proving that.
It is sweeter without a sheath
Do not fall for this trick. Sex is all in the mind. With good lubrication and the use of recommended jellies, sex with a condom doesn’t taste any different from skin-to-skin.
You don’t trust me?
It is prevalent among couples who have been together for a long time and had sex severally. After staying together for a long time or having to use condoms each time, temptations to do without crops in. Get tested first instead of risking your life!
Sex no doubt ranks high among the priorities of people who have come out of age, even coming close to the basic needs.
But you do not need to contract a deadly disease or get unwanted pregnancies as you quench your sexual urges. Don’t be duped to do it without protection.
