Laikipia procurement boss sacked

Nairobi - The head of procurement department in Laikipia County Government has been sent on a two-month compulsory leave following public complaints.
The Finance and Planning chief officer, Henry Kimani said there are some issues pertaining to the office that need to be streamlined.
He said there have been many complaints over that office and the issues need to be sorted out.
He asked the officer identified as Paul Njenga to hand over the office to his assistant Margaret Mbuki.
Kimani added that the government was working on the raised complaints to ensure public gets efficient services.
