Ladies: How to tie him down
17 January 2016, 12:32
Nairobi - What women have never understood is sports and that is why some aspects of dating and relationships will always get away from them.
Sports are about teams and if your man is a sportsman, you bet he has a team. Not Arsenal or Man-U or whatever but a team of women.
He courts them just like a coach and manager would court different players to find out who is the winner. Are we going somewhere? It’s not just for the sports men though but just apply it generally because just when you think a man is not so good looking or good enough, I bet you; there was a woman vying for him.
That is team playing.
He got married just a month after breaking up you with you? Team playing! He chose her after months of your cooking? Team playing! He did not even bother while I bothered? He had a whole other team! Men like winning and when they finally settle on their choice, it is because they were watching, looking and learning.
That is all. It does not make you any less of a woman but a woman who chose to settle for one man while he had a team of players to choose from.
She did not just do different but she beat him at his own game and at your game and that is why she won. She might have not known about you, but she studied him as a player, looked for weaknesses he needed encouragement in, strengths he needed to be applauded for, needs yet identified by him himself and she stood up to show him that whatever threats came along, she was there.
Did you do that?
Some women slack off because you are thinking you have won because you got the ‘girlfriend’ crown but there is more to it and that is how you get eliminated by your competition. She might be 3 months late but she showed a need he had and a defense he needed to build an offense for. That is just why she won.
You got the crown but slacked off because you thought you won the race. Don't be that one.
