Nairobi - Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has quit a Parliamentary Committee saying he does not have time to dispense his duties.
The controversial Kuria has resigned from being a member of the Energy committee and in the process picked Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro to replace him.
Mung'aro is currently without a Committee having been whipped by his party ODM for having links to the Jubilee Coalition.
"By serving the department committee, Mung'aro will ably represent his
county and country and remedy the marginalisation of Kilifi county," he said while nominating Mung'aro.
Kuria says he has other interests within the house he would like to pursue.
He has also been named in the Committee to deliberate changes to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision IEBC.
Mung'aro on the other hand has kicked himself out of the ODM.
