Kiunjuri worth KES 800 million, he says

Nairobi - Newly nominated Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri says he is worth a staggering KES 800 million.
Kiunjuri made the declaration in a report released by Parliament over the vetting of the 7 new nominees to the Cabinet by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
All the 7 have been cleared and will be sworn in during the coming days.
In vetting, Kiunjuri explained his wealth and how he garnered it.
He stated that he has been a member of Parliament for 15 years and has extensive interest in real estate all over the country.
He also says he owns a factory that employs 200 people.
Kiunjuri has nor criminal court case ongoing nor any civil suits against him.
" As you know my story, I have worked hard and risen a ling way from where I started and I am very proud and thankful to God for the opportunity he has handed me," he said during vetting.
Kiunjuri is also a former assistant minister in president Mwai Kibaki's government.
