Nairobi - Kick absent leaders out of ODM, an MP has told Party leader Raila Odinga.
Funyula MP Paul Otuoma says that those leaders who have defected to other parties must ask for a fresh mandate from the people of Kenya seeing as they have changed their political stance.
According to Otuoma, those leaders should seize using the name of the Party in Parliament.
" Those who have left the party must be sent back to the people to seek fresh mandate. It cannot that they used ODM and are now using a different ideology," he told News24.
According to Otuoma, those MPs have lost their faith in ODM and thus the people who voted for them and must ask them afresh for time in office.
" If they believe they made the right decision, then they must seek mandate afresh from the people. There is no shortcut about it," he added.
13 leaders quit ODM for the new Jubilee Party early this month.
