Nairobi - Pope Francis will meet retired Presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki when he arrives at State House in Nairobi for a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The two former heads of state will be at the reception and will occupy the high table when the Pope arrives at the huge dome erected at the State House lawns to welcome him to the country.
It is expected that he will address the crowd at State House, expected to be of around 1,000.
State House has been well secured and will be at its very best ahead of the visit of the Pope.
Moi was head of State when the last Pope arrived in the country. Pope John Paul II visited the country thrice during Moi's tenure.
