Keter, Kazungu quit politics ahead of Cabinet appointments

Nairobi - Charles Keter and Dan Kazungu have both quit their relevant political seats ahead of their appointment to the cabinet.
Keter, the Kericho Senator and Kazungu the Malindi MP both wrote their resignation letters to their respective speakers after the were both declared fit by MPs to take their new executive positions.
Keter will be the new Energy CS with Kazungu taking up the mining docket.
" I thank all my colleagues. Those we started with all the way back in 2002 for the opportunity to work with them and their help during the last number of years," Keter stated in the Senate.
Both are required by law to not be active politically whilst in the executive.
They will be sworn into office together with 5 other appointees to various dockets on Thursday.
