Kenyatta University student arrested for spate of city robberies

Nairobi - A female student has been arrested in Nairobi for taking part in several robberies in the city.
The student, named by Police as Mercy Siambi was arrested over the weekend with electronic goods which had been stolen from a shop in the city centre last week.
The arrest came just a day after her brother Paul Agadi was arrested by Police in the CBD.
He was found with a pistol on him.
Agadi it is understood confessed to being a robber who stole and kept the goods at his sister's house in the city.
" We have arrested him with the stolen goods as well as other assorted items and will prosecute the two for stolen property," Central Police OCPD Paul Wanjama said.
The two were found in possession of master keys to a number of locks and padlocks. They were also found with electronics linked to a number or robberies last week in the CBD.
