Kenyans to march to State House over state of the nation

Nairobi - A group of Kenyans will march to State House to present a petition to President Uhuru Kenyatta over a number of issues affecting the country.
Calling themselves Team Courage, the group of activists will meet Tuesday 1 December at the Freedom Corner in Uhuru Park and meet before they head out to State House for what they call a peaceful march.
The march will leave Uhuru Park and use the Julius Nyerere road and then join processional way.
" Team Courage started a petition November 11 declaring Corruption a national disaster which by 30 November had 8,000 signatures," Team Courage said in a press statement.
President Kenyatta in a state of the nation address last week, declared corruption a national disaster but according to Team Courage, that is simply not enough.
" The President has acted in response to that but we feel it is not enough. We want all senior public officers to start by declaring their wealth and undergo public vetting and the declarations should be made public," they sated.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is currently in Paris France attending Climate talks but that will not deter the organizers of the march.
