Kenyans pay tribute to fallen dancehall artiste

Nairobi - 10 days ago on the 4th of December 2015, the dancehall world
was rocked by the news that Dancehall singer J Capri had passed away, a week
after being hospitalized due to a terrible car accident.
The singer best known
for hits like Reverse it, Whine and Kotch featuring Charly Black and Pull up to mi Bumper
(Collaborative with Konshens), passed away at the tender age of 23.
Her Kenyan fans joined the rest of the world in celebrating
her life today, as the singer was laid to rest.
Kenyan singer FenaGitu
posted a touching tribute to the artist on her Facebook page which read “The
dancehall scene has lost one of the most prominent female emcees of our
generation. She refreshed the game with her boldness.
" Lord knows the things we
did in the club to your music. Lol.... @jcapri_hcr RIP, dance with the angels."
