Kenyan Deejay Wows Alicia Keys

04 July 2016, 18:30 Eugene Odang

Nairobi - New York born Kenyan Deejay, Dj Xpect is riding high right now after his remix to Alicia Key’s “In Common” was featured in Alicia Key’s official remix album released on the first of July.

The Deejay, known for remixing some of the top artists in America including Desiigner and generally being regarded as one of the top American Deejays in the world, is riding high after beating his competition to the punch with his remix.

Alicia Key’s husband Swizz Beats posted a survey asking his fans which of the 4 released official remixes was the best club banger. His fans voted the Xpect remix as being the unanimous favorite with 57% of the votes, followed by Black Coffee’s remix with 30%. Lil Silva and Kenny Dope settled for the spoils with 6 and 7 percent each.
