Nairobi - The battle for airtime for local content
has been ongoing for quite some time now, with radio and TV stations still
playing a significant amount of international content over local content.
try counter this, the Kenyan Nyte was coined in 2010 to shed a brighter light
on the Kenyan music scene, its performers and content coming out of it.
only Kenyan music, the night has become a huge success, touring the country one
town after the other across the year.
This time the tour heads to Nakuru town in the
Rift Valley Province at Club 69, bringing the King of Rap Rabbit Kaka Sungura
to fans of local music there. He will be backed up by none other than Nonini as
well as Deejay Westley.
