KDF soldier killed in Somalia finally laid to rest

Nairobi - A KDF soldier killed in the Al Adde attack in Somalia has finally been lid to rest, two months after his death.
Kevin Ouma perished in the attack which took place January 15 where it is estimated as many as 100 soldier died.
He was buried Friday at his rural home in Ngege Village, Migori in South Nyanza.
The burial was attended by senior military officials, members of the Ulinzi Stars football team of which he was a part of and members of hid family.
He was described as a strong man and willing to take on anything whilst on duty.
" He was a strong man and his will to do things will be remembered by all of us," his cousin William told the gathering.
Ouma quit playing for Ulinzi in 2014 after serious injury put him on the sidelines.
He was part of the 9th Kenya Regiment that went to the Al Adde camp and which was ambushed.
To this day, the KDF has yet to announce how many soldiers died in the attack and or those that are injured or missing.
