Salat advised Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto against forming a new party but instead invited him to join KANU.
"I want to ask my brother Governor Rutto to come back home instead of going to rent a house elsewhere; we have a place for him in KANU," he said.
He warned that deputy President William Ruto will regret dissolving his own party to join a 'foreign' party.
